Spectacular Tuscany. There’s a reason why Tuscany stands out as one of the most sought out travel destinations in Europe. Its breathtaking beauty is unparalleled, boasting rolling hills, never-ending vineyards and olive groves, captivating medieval hilltop villages, majestic castles, and a rich culture that has evolved over centuries. Bathed in an ethereal light that seems to emanate from within, this enchanting region provides the ideal backdrop for this week’s our cycling adventures and explorations. We’ll visit some of the more famous Tuscan highlights, such as Florence, Siena and Montepulciano, but it may be the tiny villages that see few outsiders that leave the most lasting impact on us. Add in a few castles, a basillica or two, and at least one centuries-old monestary, and you have the recipe for one truly amazing Tuscan adventure.
Cycling, exploration, and more. Each day in Tuscany will present us with so many opportunities that it will be difficult to choose how much we’ll want to pack in. Cycling each day will take us through hills, vineyards, and olive groves that surround us in all direction. Some rides will take us back to our villa, others to castles, towns, or monestaries within a few miles. Some afternoons will be filled with further adventure; others might pull us to our villa pool.
Our beauitful private villa will provide the perfect base for our adventures, and for necessary recharge after we happily pack in a bit more activity each day than we should. With its captivating mix, Tuscany offers a sensory feast that lingers long after the journey’s end.
