Spectacular Liguria. Liguria, a mesmerizing coastal region in northwestern Italy, beckons travelers with its enchanting blend of azure waters, rugged cliffs, and colorful villages. The renowned Cinque Terre, a UNESCO World Heritage site, stands proudly with its five charming fishing villages perched along the rugged coastline, offering stunning vistas and hiking trails that wind through terraced vineyards and olive groves. The elegant town of Portofino, with its pastel-colored buildings and exclusive boutiques, exudes a glamorous charm, while Genoa, the region’s capital, boasts a rich maritime history reflected in its grand palaces, bustling piazzas, and the historic Old Harbor. Liguria’s delectable cuisine, renowned for its fresh seafood and fragrant pesto, tantalizes the taste buds, and its sun-kissed beaches and vibrant seaside promenades provide ample opportunities for relaxation and leisure.
Cycling, hiking, exploring, and more. Each day will present us with so many opportunities that it will be difficult to choose how much we’ll want to pack in. We’ll start most days by cycling in the hills and mountains that rise so spectacularly from the blue Mediterranean, or by joining other travelers hiking trails to the five enchanting towns known as the Cinque Terra. Or maybe we’ll do both. From our base in the mountains, the opportunites for exploration in all directions are boundless.
Our beauitful private villa will provide the perfect base for our adventures, and for necessary recharge after we happily pack in a bit more activity each day than we should. With its captivating mix of natural beauty, cultural heritage, and culinary delights, Liguria offers a sensory feast that lingers long after the journey’s end.
